Automation emails get a header image, and filtered boards open faster

Automation emails open on a header image, message fields trim a post to size, and boards on a saved view load faster.

Automation emails open on a picture

The branded email layout in Automations has a Header image field now. Paste a public image URL into it, or point it at a card's Image, Media, or Studio Frame property, and the picture runs full width above the heading. The preview shows it the way the recipient will.

Message fields can shape what they carry, too. A field used to name a variable and stop there, so an email built from a card either shipped the whole post or none of it. Now {{paragraphs(post.card.content, 3)}} sends the first three paragraphs. There are matching functions for a number of words or characters, one that strips the formatting down to plain text, and one that turns an image property into a picture inside the body. Any field on any step takes them. A newsletter that shows the post's thumbnail and its opening, then links to the rest, is one automation now.

Boards on a saved view open on the right cards

Open a board on a view with a filter or a sort and the first page of cards already matches it. A big board on a narrow view used to make you wait on cards you were never going to see. That wait is gone. What arrives is your view's first page, and scrolling to the bottom of a column keeps loading from there.

Moving between hub pages got quicker as well. Card and page covers load at the size they are shown rather than full size.

Remove an entry from the Support knowledge base and answers stop drawing on it the moment it is gone.

Forms and Spotlight pages follow the same visibility rules as Pages and Boards. A form or page marked internal is for SharpHaw staff only. It stays out of your lists, and its public link does not open.
