Board columns scroll on their own, and big boards stop stuttering
Board columns now scroll their own cards while the page holds still, and big boards keep up while you type and drag.
Every column scrolls its own cards
A board no longer scrolls as one tall page. The row of columns moves sideways now, and each column runs the full height of the screen with its own cards scrolling inside it. The column you are reading stays where you left it while you work through the one beside it. Columns end level with each other too, instead of trailing off at different depths.
An empty column still draws its card area. So a board with one busy column and four quiet ones reads as five columns, not one column and a few stubs. Column headers sit above their cards and hide them behind the rounded corners as they scroll past.
Loading more cards moved inside the column. A column used to pull every remaining card the moment the board opened. Now it grows when you reach the end of that particular column.
Large boards keep up with you
Type in search and the rest of the board no longer has to catch up. Same when you open a card, or drag one between columns. On boards that have grown past a couple of hundred cards, that was the difference between typing and waiting. Grid layout works the same way.
Customers gets the same board
The Customers board view now behaves like any other board. Columns scroll their own cards and reach the bottom of the screen. On a phone the floating New customer button keeps a band of its own at the edge, so it stops covering a card you were trying to reach.
